American performer Allison Brooks Janney was born on November 19, 1959. Her work on the screen as well as the stage have garnered praise throughout the span of her 3 decades-long career. Janney has been nominated for Six Primetime Emmy Awards, and she has won two times the Outstanding Supporting Actress in Comedy Shows. Janney was raised in Dayton the Ohio city of Dayton. She was born on 19. November 1959, in Boston. Janney was the daughter of Macy Brooks Janney (an actress) and Jervis Janney Jr. Jay is the elder brother. In 2005 she graduated from Miami Valley School of Dayton and was honored as an outstanding student. She attended her first year at Hotchkiss School, Connecticut where she was awarded the title of Alumna of the Year in 2016. Janney studied theatre while she attended Kenyon College Gambier, Ohio. While performing in an Bolton Theater performance where she met Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward. Janney received advice and support from them during her beginning career. Her training continued in the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, New York, and was awarded a scholarship towards the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in the middle of 1984.
