Carey was a fashion model. She is 5'10" tall, and was sought-after by the top American fashion designers like Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and others. In 1979, the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists elected the father of her Scientist of the Year. Carey was educated all over the planet due to her father's work. When she began studying acting at Neighborhood Playhouse, New York, her enthusiasm for acting increased. The year 1986 was the year she had her first role in acting as a small part in Club Paradise, with Robin Williams. Skiing, white water rafting as well as rock climbing are some of her preferred pursuits.
